food+media (mad+medier) is a network of food and drinks communicators in Denmark. The purpose of the network is to improve the general quality of all gastronomy related communication in Denmark through the provision of a platform for discussion, sharing of knowledge, mutual inspiration, for meetings, events and debates in order to build valuable social and professional relations in the industry.

As of February 2014 the network organizes 833 food communicators. 344 of these are food and wine bloggers. 1070 receive the newsletter, 1679 are connected on Facebook, 868 follow us on Twitter, 496 see our pictures on Instagram and 120 people are in the LinkedIn group. mad+medier is run by Founder and Communications Consultant Marie Sainabou Jeng, Founder and food and Wine Writer Rasmus Holmgård, Project Manager Katja Seerup Clausen and Project Manager Sara Brink Larsen.

What is the food+media-award?
The food+media-award aims to concretize the network’s ideals of improving the quality of food communication in Denmark by highlighting a number of specific people and their work in 16 selected disciplines of gastronomic communication. We do this by naming Denmark’s best food communications, and we do it with a spectacular award show. See the categories and the juries here.

Become a partner
food+media is looking for partners, who may benefit from food+media’s favorable position to facilitate exposure of a company, brand, product or an original thought or idea to a large number of Danish food writers, bloggers, editors etc. A partnership with food+media includes:
• The chance to make a mark on the food media agenda. Through mad+medier network you and your organization have direct access to the very communicators who set the food media agenda in Denmark through a variety of new, traditional, digital and printed platforms.
• PR and communication. Actively integrate your conference partner opportunities in your general communication strategy and make the most of your investment.
• Strengthen relations. Create direct and personal relations with the food communicators through your presence at the conference. Establish and strengthen a valuable dialogue for use in your daily work with PR and communications.
• Exposure. Of your newest product or service, your campaign or your general message using the network’s various communication channels.

Partnerships
There are a number of different opportunities for entering a partnership with the food+media-award 2014. Here’s a couple of possibilities for collaborating.

A-partnership DKK 35.000 + VAT
Become a partner and get your brand associated with a specific award or get your product placed at the party. The partnership includes:

  1. Advice on how the partnership can strengthen your brand and or product
  2. Presentation of the partnership in the food+media newsletter that is sent to the network’s 833 members (1070 total subscribers)
  3. Priority presentation of the A-partnership with food+media on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  4. Priority presentation of the A-partnership (name + logo + link) on madmedier.dk
  5. Ad Page / advertorial in print program / ​​magazine
 (1 page A4 – delivered press ready for the magazine, see the 2013 magazine here)
  6. Priority presentation of your logo on the wall, where all guests get their picture taken at the award ceremony (In 2013, the photos with partner logos were seen on Facebook by 22,000 people)
  7. Free use of the food+media-award’s 2014 own marketing + ” food+award-award 2014 “badge to your own web and print
  8. Communication about the partnership in all internal and external publicity of the specific price category or in connection with the award show (you are welcome to do the same)
  9. 1 activity notice, press release or job posting on madmedier.dk
  10. 2 tickets for the award show


B-partnership DKK 15.000 + VAT

Become a partner and set the imprint of your brand on the digital and print media of the food+media-award.

  1. Presentation of B-partnership with food+media on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  2. Presentation on the list of B-partners (name + logo + link) on madmedier.dk
  3. Ad Page / advertorial in print program / ​​magazine 
 (1 page A4 – you either deliver print-ready ad or deliver text, photographs, graphics and logo and food+media will produce the ad)
  4. Presentation of your logo on the wall, where all guests get their picture taken at the award ceremony (In 2013, the photos with partner logos were seen on Facebook by 22,000 people)
